Had a lunch in this restaurant and it did not disappointed me. Price seemed okay and food was great. Had a deep Indian taste. Loved it and would go back again.

We have visited several times and have never been disappointed in the food. It is very good and very reasonably priced. Very close to West Bank, University of MN.

We had lunch and dinner on two different week days; not much crowded. The food was good, the service is also good. Locating the parking specified for this restaurant is bit of a problem. Good place to dine.

It seems this place needs some well-deserved positive reviews! I was in Minneapolis for work and ordered pick up – in 30 minutes my veggie pakora, saag paneer, and naan were ready. Unfortunately they ran out of tamarind chutney but replaced it with mango, which was very good. The food was delicious and I saw several people inside for the lunch... More

We got a very tasty meal for two but need another person to help finish it off. Took the left overs back to the room for another meal. There is a huge selection of dishes. Restrooms are in the basement down a steep flight of stairs so anyone with knee problems would have difficulty getting there. Otherwise, a delightful experience.... More

This was my first and only time there so far. We had a great experience. Our group was three couples and a single. They split up the tab and we all played with cards without issue. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. None of us complained, and we were a multicultural group. We actually didn't... More

It was a Monday evening, my first night in town for business, and asked the staff at the front desk of my hotel if there were any Indian restaurants within walking distance of the hotel... I was told about this one, and also that they had recently hired a new cook. I walked across the street from the hotel and... More

I want to preface this review by saying I will be contacting Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson to report the fraudulent business practices of Jewel of India. But we can get to that in a minute. Let's talk about the rest of the experience, shall we? My dining partner and I stopped in here tonight around 6:30, after discovering our... More

Worst Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Had ordered just a naan and Malai Kofta, the staff didn't bother to note down and as expected, we got just one of them after a long wait. When asked for the other, which we got after another 20 mins, she just placed the naan in a rude manner and seemed unapologetic about the... More
