This place is always busy for a reason. Great food and good service. I love those big pancakes. They're very filling and good as leftovers!

A friend suggested that we meet here for brunch on Sunday. He mentioned the potential of a long wait to get in. I opted to give it a try, as the comments from others had been good, as well as the online reviews. He arrived...More
Small but tastefully homey atmosphere. Perfect hash browns, golden and crispy and the bacon is thick cut and delicious. Many homemade items including fresh jams. The pancakes are the size of the plate and very filling. Overall a great experience. I did not enjoy the...More
This is a great breakfast spot in South Minneapolis. Their biscuits and gravy are really good. My wife had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit that was terrific. The biscuits are homemade.

I came here with my friends for breakfast and ordered the cinnamon roll. It was the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever eaten (and the size of the plate).
The COLOSSAL CAFE has a huge name but a small space. In summer it expands outdoors, but at peak times it can take a long time to get a table and service. The food is very good and low priced,
Family friendly. Weekends long wait, but worth it, download the app to avoid long wait-time. Food is worth it. Friendly staff. We had fun waiting, get to chat with your friends or family as you enjoy free coffee and mini chocolate muffins.
Excellent food. Fresh, healthful and delicious. Love the pancakes with brie and the eggs Benedict was fabulous. The space is small but it’s worth the wait. They also have excellent espresso and coffee. Breakfast or lunch I know you’ll enjoy it.
