My friend and I went here for lunch after a morning at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and were so glad we did. When you are seated, there will be an order pad at your table. Take one and fill it out by using the food item number on the menu and remember to write your table at the top... More

I just tried breakfast here after living in the Twin Cities for over 35 years. Don't waste your time at this restaurant. It's overpriced, has a strange ordering concept, is void of any ambience and the food is marginal at best. I would sooner avoid a meal than go back here.

We tried the NE Bad Waitress on a slow weekend afternoon - it's in our neighborhood so hoped for the best. We will not be back. They have been open a few weeks now, and don't have all of the beers that they list on the menu, but all are $7. I had a bacon and cheese omelette - the... More

This is an awesome place to eat breakfast/brunch. Minimal wait even thou it was Sunday after church time. We had a great meal and a great overall experience.

We had lunch at the new Bad Waitress on Central in Minneapolis. It was our first time. The service was very slow, even though it was not crowded at all. We had a tuna melt and mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was delicious, however, maybe five or six bites -- a little expensive for so little food. The... More

Who's idea was this concept? Terrible service matched with marginal, over priced food. Do not waste your time or money here. Or at their other location. Not only did I have to take my own order, I then had to take that order form up to the counter and pay first! Then when my food came up it sat under... More

Unique little place, busy but not over crowded. Definitely enjoyed my experience, had the breakfast burrito, very good and reasonably priced.

I have never written a bad review before but my experience here was so bad that it inspired me. I have eaten at the Bad Waitress before so was familiar with the concept. You fill out your own order, take it to the counter , and get your own water. No problem for me or the folks I was with.... More

This is a go-to spot for breakfast with friends. Imaginative menu of well-prepared, wholesome food. While the "place your own order, get your own coffee" routine is a bit strange, service once you're seated is excellent. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, even when the place is packed.

The food was fabulous but it took close to an hour to get it. We had another appointment so really didn't get to enjoy the delightful meal. Yes, you should go, but plan plenty of time.

Thank Sue D
