We visited last night. We have been to Cafe Ena in the past and the food and service was above average. This time we had 8 people and our waitress seemed to be on her own without any bus help and she was also waiting...More

What a wonderful dining experience. No blaring TVs or loud music. A dining room that was acoustically treated so you could actually carry on a conversation with the other people at the table. Friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. We started with two appetizers- shrimp and...More

Ironically, we heard about this restaurant (self-described as Latin fusion) from a fellow Twin Cities couple we met while vacationing in Scottsdale, AZ, last spring. This is our second time visiting, and it was even better than the first - hard to imagine. We had...More

I've been here maybe four times now and every time it's been very good. I really like the empanadas, which I think are a staple of the menu. Entrés are seasonal and always good. I used to get this wonderful dish of mussels, shrimp and...More

We at Café Ena before attending a Crosstown Band concert in Minneapolis. The ceviche was wonderful, and the entrée continued the meal with new healthy and enticing flavors. Great work! The concert was wonderful also! frankweberauthor.com

The food is South American. Never have had a bad meal there. Service is OK. Wine list is fair. Noise level can be troublesome if ambient noise is a problem for you. But, the appetizers and the entrees are uniformly excellent.

Cafe Ena has become a regular on our date night locations. Great hospitable service and quality creative pan-Latin inspiration. The churns and stuffed poblano are a must!

Just had dinner with friends at Cafe ENA. Ordered three different dishes and all were excellent. Ate outside too which is a bit noisy on the busy street, but still very ice

Chef/Owner Hector Ruiz welcomes you to Cafe Ena: A cozy intimate restaurant located in the tangletown neighborhood in south Minneapolis. Chef Ruiz pares his classic French technique and South American palate to present an exciting menu of Latin-Fusion cuisine. Begin your meal with a south american style ceviche, shrimp, fish, scallops and shrimp in a aji sauce. The many entrees include, scallops, halibut, pork tenderloin, Argentinean style steaks finished in a savory chimichurri. The wine list focuses on a wide range of varietals from Central and South America. Weekly Wine Flights are a great opportunity to sample the many styles offered on the list. If wine is not your thing, perhaps you would enjoy one of the many cervesas, always served in a frosty mug with a lime.
