This is really a deli, but you can eat there also. There are about 6 tables to sit at. It is not fancy, but the gyros are great and there is a variety of side dishes. It's not fancy, but the food is good and Ray the owner is very friendly. You can order a sandwich or dinner/lunch plate.

My husband discovered this small deli/restaurant for a quick lunch on a tip from our older son. It is Lebanese deli with many items that you would also find in a Greek restaurant. I usually get their beef-lamb gyro plate with a pita and cucumber sauce (you can also get a bun) and then comes the hard part - what... More

Stopped in with a co-worker for gyros and also ate tabbouleh, pasta salad, cheese pie, baklava and shortbread. All good, and friendly efficient service too. Minor deduction for too-loud cheesy music.

I have been going to Zakia for 10 years and frequently make it a destination either solo or with guests and always bring something home (lubnay, olives, red pepper hummus, pita chips). Plates are huge and service is efficient and nonsense-get-me-my-food-I'm-hungry kind of directness. (I dare you to finish a plate!) Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors make this my... More

I have been quite a few times and each time I am in town I make sure to stop there. The food is really tasty and authentic. Prices are reasonable which is important if you are on a budget. When the place is crowed, it's hard to find a seat... so go there after 1PM !

This is my fave Greek deli in the Twin Cities. It can be busy, with very limited seating, during weekday lunch, as many people working in the area come in there. I've been on a Saturday when there were only 2 other people in there besides me. I almost always get the gyro plate, with either baklava or extra dolmades... More

Tabbouleh and baklava are the best I can find anywhere. A lot of options. Good quick place to grab lunch. Around businesses, so not open late and I think limited weekend hours. Gyros, hummus, falafel, etc.

Had the best middle eastern food outside of Israel here in Minneapolis at the Zakia Deli. The meatballs, gyro meat, falafel was the best I've had here in the states! The salads including the hummus was outstanding as well. Tried about twelve or thirteen different things and loved every one of them. The people and the service was as good... More

Tucked away in a commercial area, you have to know where Zakia Deli is located or you wouldn't just happen by. But its worth a special trip. Although the place is small, it's packed with salads and sandwiches that any vegetarian would love. . The mjadra is my favorite! Lentils, rice and spices with the Lebanese salad of tomato, onion...
