We had a great lunch of a German platter and enjoyed the free jukebox of so many great oldies with plenty of beer choices to pick from. We will come back for Octoberfest!

To be fair, we didn't go here to eat. We just wanted to have a cocktail, after eating across the street at the Lamplighter. When we walked in, we noticed the place was nearly empty at 7:30p on a Saturday night! The bartender looked up at us (not sure what she was doing) with a scowl on her face, so... More

Best Ribs around! I mean talk about tasty. Whenever I am in New Ulm for any extended amount of time I try to get to the Kaiserhoff.

If you want German food this is your place. Small but tasty selection of German entrees and large menu of more American fare. The prime rib was delicious and cooked perfectly. Worth the stop for the history and experience as well as a satisfying filling meal.

We ate here since New Ulm is of German ancestry. My wife and I got German meals. They were o.k. but a little dried out. Our friends got the shrimp and ribs which they said was fantastic.

The fare is good, servings size is good. This is primarily northern German food, therefore did not have weisswurst (veal bratwurst).

We used to visit New Ulm every fall when we lived in the Cities, & the Keiserhoff was always the place to eat. We went there today, & were sadly disappointed. The food was not at all the quality that it used to be & over priced, too. We will never go back. The whole town of New Ulm, like... More

We went here when it said it was going to be open they has they doors locked and it was closed!!! We went back for a second night. The food was not good at all. I think they microwaved our dinners. The waitress was rude and overcharged our bill. When I asked about it, she was not even apologetic. I... More

This is a typical overpriced German restaurant whose time has come and gone. Nothing seems to have changed in 50 years, but that is okay. Big restaurant that had few patrons. No windows to the outside. One dining area even had a Juke Box selector at each table! I think the juke box is gone, so isvt g e atmosphere.... More

My wife and I thought it would be most inappropriate to visit a community with a German heritage like New Ulm, Minn., and not try the city’s popular German restaurant. So we ate our dinner on a Sunday night at Veigle’s Kaiserhoff. The Kaiserhoff is known for its ribs, so we knew we had to try them. We both ordered... More
