The taste is totally out & horrible. It not well cooked & selling at tourist price. It not recommended to buy here
The original tanjong sepat famous pua. Taste ordinary & priced at high edge. Too salty & not healthy
Reached early to avoid the crowd but informed by next door that shop only open 10am. Left empty handed.
Certain pau sold here are delicious, i.e vege pau and meat pau. The size of the pau is a bit smaller than the size of the pau sold in normal coffee shop. And the price is a bit more expensive than the price of the...pau sold in normal coffee shop. What I like the most of the pau is their soft fluffy skin (while it is hot only). The paste in the pau is not that much as I prefer to eat the pau with a lot of paste inside.More
This is one of the three pao shops in this small town but what’s attractive at these shops are the specialty hand made paos. From peanuts, veggies to meat paos you will surely taste the difference in its authentic and yet traditional flavours. Surely a...great take home souvenirsMore
Too much hype about this store. Rude service (take it/leave it attitude with restricted pau per person). Pau tasted average.
Their “Vege with Pork” pao is the signature. But I love their Pork Pao and Green Beans Pao, superb. Expect long queue during holidays and weekend. When the pao is out you have to come back again later because they don’t take advance order. If...you think of compare with the “Mr Black”, they simple not as good as this.More
Been here before and outlet looks cleaner than when I last visited. As it is a weekday there were not many visitors to Tanjung Sepat. Kaya, red bean and peanut Pau were pretty normal. Don't miss the "moi choy" & "sang yuk" Pau as it...is better than many outlets. Quality of Pau still good and prices seems reasonable.More
Came here to buy Pau , but I much prefer the texture of Mr Black Bao Shop which is bigger in size and tastier honestly
Homemade and handmade delicious pau is found here. Tried the Sheng Rou (meat) pau, May Chai pau, Tou Sa pau, all are up to my expectations. These Soft and tender buns with varieties of filling ingredients taste good enough and made me unable to quit...especially when you have very good coffee right opposite of this pau shop. This is a must visit place in Tanjung Sepat. was greeted by this entrepreneur’s very friendly owner Mr & Mrs Lee (King of Pau), thank you very much , will come again with my groups soon.More
After having lunch at the Assam Batu Laut restaurant we decided to find this popular pau shop in Tanjung Sepat. We bought many varieties and they all tasted good. It is difficult to park along this narrow street but its well worth the trouble if...you are in the area. Avoid public holidays and weekends, too busy for my liking.More
We have always passed by the shop when we take day trips to Tanjung Sepat. This time, we decided to have a try. Suprisingly, there was no queue even though it was the school holidays. We bought the 'tai pau' and 'mui cai pau'. The...'tai pau' was not too bad but the 'mui cai pork' filled pau was delicious. A good breakfast or tea time snack. A little bit on the pricy side though...More
This is the most popular shop selling paku in this small country seaside town. We ordered a few different varieties of pau. The taste is really excellent. The filling for all the varieties are full and plenty. The red bean and sang yuk pau is...very nice. There is no place to sit. Just buy and eat at the coffee shop across the small road.More
Even its name card is an icon of a Pau (Fillings in a Bun). Each piece is priced RM$3.00, but it was the variety that caught our attention. Try the Mei Cai Pau, Rou Pau & or the Bean Paste Pau. Be venturesome sit opposite...& try the fried fish balls, fish cakes other seafood cakes (sold by a lady on a bicycle). The uncle selling fishball soup beckons, try ours (its from swordtail fishes).. Yeh, we tried but first bowl of 10 pieces cost us RM$10.00 (most expansive in Malaysia)., the next have 12 pieces - same price. The Pau's (BUNs) were all eaten on the spot there, down with Cuppa (black coffee) The Mei Cai Pau are unique & palatable. The fried fishball's good.More
