We were looking for another Mexican restaurant but couldn't find it but this place was in the same area. We each ordered the Mexican style tacos. They were very good and the owner was great. Highly recommended.

My husband and I used to go to this place almost every week for a long time until they changed the price and reduced the amount of food. We still love their food but we haven't been there that many times anymore. That's too bad. It is my son's most favorite Mexican place. Had to try to go there for... More

El Carambas has a great owner and staff but the food has gone way downhill. Ordered the dinner special which was a Taco and a Burrito. Chips were good but you can only get 2 very small cups of salsa without being charged extra. The Burrito had absolutely no flavor to it. They obviously don't use any seasonings at all.... More

Haven't dined here for about 7-8 years, went back again yesterday (Friday evening) because we were tired and wanted something quick and knew the style of this place. You order at the counter, they had you a basket of chips (free) and you make your own salsa from different ingredients at the counter. Also a self-serve beverage dispenser. Food menu... More

Seriously have no idea who was cooking. Carrots and zucchini in a quesadilla? It was so watered down from the veggies it was squishy. Shrimp so overcooked it was like a rubber ball. And absolutely no flavor. Should have known when we tried to find flavor in the salsa, nothing. My husband ordered a burrito dinner. What came was the... More

Maybe I'm getting picky about my mexican food. The shrimp was dry... bland. The service was sketchy. Just unorganized. Slow. And I was rather shocked at the bill. 3 adults and 3 kids for $110. What did we even eat that cost that much?? I'll go somewhere else next time. Not worth it. Sorry. My first bad review.

I go to this place quite a lot because it is just so good I can always count on them to deliver me great food! I have ordered a variety of things and they have all been up to par. I love their tacos and burritos. Their refrained beans aren't to bad either.

The food was excellent. We are not from the area and it is not in a real popular location. We were kind of confused when we went in because there were people standing at the counter ordering so we thought we had to order before being seated. Not the case, we should have been seated first. Plenty of food for... More

Don't bother with the meal plates, just get a variety of their tacos and dig in and you'll be very happy. And don't forget the tortilla chips with their burnt salsa - the best I've ever tasted!

We were there for late lunch and ordered taco salads with beef. the salads looked fresh, but the beef was cooked hours ago and was too hard. The salads came 3 minutes after we ordered. They were mixed prepared ingredients. It is OK @ rush hour, but is bad thing when certain meat stays hours before served. You pay when... More
