I used to really like getting a hot hoagie from here. But last time I ordered one on lunch the ham on my sandwich was totally burned. Not sure if it was just a new cook or what, after waiting 45mins for it when I was ten minutes away at work I haven't been back. But they used to be... More

Having tasted "the real thing" in Philly, I've looked in Minneapolis/St. Paul for something similar. Hot City is the closest I've found. It's packed at lunch, so if you are going there between 11:30 and 1:00, you might want to order ahead. The Cheese steak was large, tasty and moderate in price. ($8.49). They offer several options - steak, chicken,... More

Do not be put off by what it looks like on the outside. The pizza, whole or by the slice, is great. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home... This is the kind of place I will continue to patronize while I am in Saint Paul. Check it out are call for delivery.

Once you've had a Philly Cheesesteak in Philadelphia, you are forever looking to recreate the experience in other places. You are almost never satisfied. Hot City actually achieves a true Philly with the creaminess, cheesiness, and flavors that only an old griddle can give. I'll be back to Hot City Pizza, but I may never taste the pizza. Why would... I am a fan of the Phillies at Goody's Hot City Pizza. The calzones are delicious and usual feed me twice. All the different sandwiches on the board are awesome and full of flavor. This is a stop to make while in St Paul, it will change your life...at least for about a half hour, while you devour the goodness... More
