This seafood restaurant was totally destroyed down to the slab in hurricane Katrina, but has been rebuilt and is an excellent place to eat. Full menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. Portions are large, so order carefully. The fried shrimp for lunch had 12 nice shrimp with a light corn flour breading. Dinner has 22=24 shrimp. Potato... More

We tried to get in just behind a party of 15. We already knew they were in need of help from the sign posted. They were trying, but we didn't want to wait for 1.5 hours for a table when it was only 2 of us. So we left. We did return the next day to give them a try... More

Great service. Tasty food. Kids loved the boiled crawfish. Fresh shrimp. Salads could be better and fresher.

Wanted to have a beach side lunch so stopped. Looked fine but was not expecting anything exceptional. We ordered fish and chips and the fried shrimp basket. The portion of fish was huge and very fresh. The coating for the fish and the shrimp was light and nicely seasoned- and not greasy at all. Cole slaw was sweet and very... More

Nothing really special, I clearly had better gumbo yesterday in Vicksburg. It was clearly edible but did not have the boom of flavor that it really should have had.

This was not a bad experience for us, but certainly nothing to get too excited over either. We took the family here for an early lunch and sat on the back patio. The view of the water was quite nice and certainly added to atmosphere. The service was ok. Again... not bad, but nothing over the top. The food was... More

On our way to Gulfport we needed to get a bite to eat and stopped here, mistake, should have went on. Wife got boiled shrimp which came and looked ok but she had trouble peeling them, others were just mush and could not be eaten, I got a bowl of gumbo, they only sold bowls not cups, it came and... First mistake was going to Snappers instead of Shaggies. Not sure how we got that wrong, but we did. Second mistake was ordering the shrimp with french fries. Nothing was fresh, tasted like it went from the freezer to the fryer. Staff was nice and the draft beer hit the spot, but $35.00 for the dinner wasn't worth it. There... More
