We arrived early and they let us in, anyway and brought us tea. All the waitresses, but one, helped with some part of our meal and all were so sweet. An employee at Camping World recommended this place and The Love Shack, but our truck...More

We are so glad we found this place. It is a tiny whole in the wall but when you walk in get ready to eat awesome food. The Bisque was the best we have had anywhere. The seafood gumbo was a close second. Shrimp Poboy...More

Taranto' is our "go to" lunch restaurant on the coast. Today we had a bowl of gumbo and a 6" fried shrimp po-boy. Both were excellent! We have never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend.

Decided to try this as it was away from the typical tourist options and we were not disappointed. Everyone was genuinely welcoming and our server Cindy really made us feel at home. We started out with the fried pickles and peppers - they were lightly...More

Taranto's is a bit off the beaten path but well worth the effort to find it! The gumbo is some of the best I have ever eaten! The Po Boy sandwiches were great as well. Service was excellent! Nice job!

This local, off the beaten path, gem of a restaurant has it all. Great food, southern charm, reasonable prices and very personable customer service. Highly recommended but plan ahead to avoid long lines. (All the locals know this place)

We met a few friends here for dinner, and they are a locals place for sure and it's in a small community so it can get crowded quick, food was great and reasonably priced

Tarantos features grilled options as well. During our visit we ordered the shrimp poboy and a side of shrimp and crawfish both had light breading full of flavor.Hope this helps enjoy!
