We had dinner here on the recommendation of a local. That person said they had the best fried shrimp. My husband had the shrimp and I had the spaghetti. Really, the shrimp were not bad but they certainly weren't anything to write home about. My spaghetti was also mediocre. We did like the building itself. We sat in the front... More

We went to Ramon's, not quite knowing what to expect. The local folks all suggested this place for dinner, saying the shrimp is the best around. It fits in with the general theme around Clarksdale...capitalize on the tourists coming to see things "as they were way back when" . This sums it up pretty much. The folks were friendly and... More

This was recommended by a local friend and he didn't steer us wrong. Large menu and everything our group ordered was great. I had boiled shrimp - 12 very large sized with a baked potato - others had hamburgers - all was great - will definitely go again. You can also bring you own wine - they do sell beer

Took 20 minutes for my buddy's 2nd beer. Had to chase the waitress down before he dehydrated... The food was ok but not worth the wait. It was served nearly 2 hours after that 2nd beer . We will not go back

Seafood at its best! A dozen of us went there on Sat night. Best onion rings ever as appetizer! We are tried the Fired Jumbo Shrimp and it was amazing. Huge shrimp and fired to perfection with great seasoning. They also have italian food and we chose the buttered pasta for our side and it was delicious. Don't be fooled... More

We had a hot tip on the food at Ramon's. A local gave us directions and told us to order the fried shrimp, onion rings and the cavatuna. We did exactly as we were advised. She was right. The fried shrimp arrived hot, crisp and flavorful. The onion rings were fabulous. The larger order was enough for five. The cavatuna... More

We had a recommendation from a local and this places serves mainly deep fried southern food, shrimps, catfish, pork etc. It is not licenced so you can take your own wine with no corkage. So not exciting cuisine but honest local food . Gluten free options were a bit limited as most food is battered but they served good grilled... More

The food here is real good southern style. Only problem is it is busy busy so if you are in a hurry you might want to go someplace else. The staff is very friendly. The building hasn't been updated in 100 years. But best food in town.

This place is right out of the past with great local food. Fried shrimp is their special dish and it is good! Not much to see from the outside but a whole different world when you enter. Family run and operated with real class, they make you feel like family when you show up. You can bring your own wine!... More

There were 7 of us in Clarksdale for the weekend before going to Memphis for the International Blues Competition. We were looking for a new restaurant to try and decided to stop at Ramon's on a Saturday night. When we walked in we were asked if we had reservations - we didn't and told them we were from out of... This is a hidden jewel in Clarksdale! Ramon's is very homey and off the beaten path down in a neighborhood, but it has the best fried shrimp and spaghetti around. They serve a dish of fried chicken livers and spaghetti. Dinners come with a salad. Everything is fresh and tasty and the service is very southern and friendly.
