walking through the kitchen on the way to the table, you can't help noticing the slabs of meat grilling...and this is a great place for those who love steak...although the shrimp is mighty good as well. the cheesecake for dessert was a winner!

This place must be experienced if you are in Greenville and love steak. There is no charm here, just really good food. I had the fillet and it was one of the best I have ever had anywhere.

don't judge this place by the building its in, you have to try the food! Huge sirloins and whole ribeye, handcut fries, homemade tamales, excellent all the way around!

Forget the surroundings, forget the sketchy neighborhood, forget the shabby exterior, forget the rather dilapidated entrance (into the kitchen); prepare yourself for the best steak you will ever eat. The BEST.... we chose the ribeye, which easily feeds two adults. Even at almost $ 50,...More

The steaks at Doe's Eat Place are pricey and worth every penny. The porterhouse was at least $60; it may have been $65. The fillets run about $40. You won't regret it, but bring a credit card or a lot of cash.
