Hungry after a ride, my husband and I found this place on TripAdvisor. I order the fried green tomatoes and a Caesar salad. My husband had the shrimp and grits and a fabulous dish of sweet potatoes. We finished of with a sweet roll bread pudding. SWEET ROLLS! It was fabulous! We will definitely be back to Hattiesburg.

My husband and I had a wonderful date night last night! The manager came by our table to introduce himself, and was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He suggested the perfect wine to compliment my meal. We ordered the Oyster Sampler and the Redfish Orleans and were not disappointed! If you are looking for a casual atmosphere with a staff... More

Okay this is NOT a $5 lunch deal, but, if you're looking for excellent food at "reasonable" prices, this is a good option in West Hattiesburg. Crab cakes are amazing for any south of Maryland, and I haven't eaten even a mediocre oyster there yet, whether fried, charbroiled, raw, or topped with seafood stuffing, cheesy spinach, or spicy red sauce.... My wife and I eat here quite often and have never had a bad meal. The pogo shrimp are outstanding. They batter and fry them, Then they put them in a sauce so they are like chicken wings. They are a must have every time we go. It is a little fancy for small children in my opinion though.

We stopped in Hattiesburg to meet a friend on our way home from the coast. We wanted one last bit of seafood before our mini-vacation was over, so we stopped at Half Shell Oyster House. We got an oyster sampler and I tried them all, but only cared for the charbroiled lol. I'm a super picky eater, but my fiancé... More

Family of 4 for a dinner visit- the kids are 13 and 9 and they absolutely fell in love with the charbroiled oysters and the fried green tomato BLT. The husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and he is on a gluten free diet.

Great place for drinks, Pink Pearl Martini, and anything, BUT the Lobster Quesadillas. Never make anything called quesadillas with American cheese. It even rendered the lovely lobster in it inedible.

The royal reds are always fresh and very tender, not over-cooked like most restaurants. The appetizer is plentiful. Also try the catch of the day which is always fresh and never frozen. The sandwiches are also excellent.
