Quick lunch while out on business....the Tenderloin was okay...but the Ruben , it wasn't very good. The corned beef was tough....suffered through the first half because I was hungry, couldn't eat the second half. The french fries were good though. Wait staff was good...manager didn't care that we were unhappy with our meal.

I really enjoy when I'm able to grab breakfast or breakfast-lunch while I'm working in the area. Everyone who works there is very kind, the coffee is good, and the breakfast always on point.

Recently Ma's Place was enlarged, and improved the facility. Food is good. I eat breakfast in this establishment, and also lunch. I have not experienced dinner. The service is good, but the restaurant is pretty busy on Sunday mornings especially. Bruce works hard, and in fact cooks himself on Sunday mornings. If your around Kimberling City, or vacationing at Kimberling... More

Have eaten breakfast here on numerous occasions, food is always good and service is as well unless they are really busy which I understand. Locally owned and hometown feel for sure.

We re-discovered Ma's Place in Kimberling City when we were out at the Lake. It has undergone a total makeover...and wow! It looks great. The service was fantastic. And the food was fast, plentiful, and cooked to perfection. Best breakfast we have had at the lake. We look forward to coming back and trying their Friday night catfish.

We've eaten here several times on Friday evenings for the all you can eat catfish. The catfish is excellent, it arrives at your table hot and the sides are good. Staffing seems to be an issue, we've been only table in non smoking area and had to wait for drinks, refills, etc. We've had to wait to be seated and... More

I visited here once before based on seeing a large number of cars in the parking lot. I had breakfast and it was fabulous. The food was well seasoned and a HUGH portion. This time I visited, it was later in the day and I had a Reuben. The sandwich was average. The corned beef was tender, but there was... More

We came with a group of 8 for breakfast 2 times during our stay in Kimberling City. Service was friendly, fast (except for checkout, they really need another system), and food was hot when it came. Prices were good. Low to mid-range.

Had a late lunch with my sister and her friend. They picked the place and I'm glad that they did. Food was great and really great service.

Ma's has recently started closing more often, but they run specialty nights for fried chicken, catfish, etc. the food is very good, portions are large, service is sometimes spot on, but at other times a bit unpolished. Ma's is a Kimberling City institution and one of a precious few restaurants in the area. Breakfasts are worth the trip, food is... More
