I attended college in Louisiana so I know good Cajun and Creole food when I taste it, and this is not it. I had the shrimp etouffee with so-called dirty rice. I say so-called because this rice was brown and real dirty rice is not brown, it is white rice with chicken liver and spices that give it a '... More

Had the crawfish no heat either temperature or spice it was yankee crawfish; friends said the fried green tomatoes and fried oysters were good. It ain't close to NOLA.

I spent five years working in New Orleans and did my share of eating. So I love to get NOLA food when ever I can and hoped this would be one of those almost the same but still great opportunities. The restaurant was fairly empty because it was during the True/False movie night so we had no wait, a great... More

A pale comparison to what you can get in Orleans Parish. But, this is mid-Missouri, so to be fair, food is not bad here, and it's kinda fun. Crawfish etoufee good. Bread pudding is very good.

Visited Jazz today for lunch with my husband; his first time (and probably his last). I have enjoyed dining here but today the food was disappointing and the service has been better. Some of the fried items were way overcooked and the tuna was somewhat bland. The server did bring us new fried food BUT she should have never served... More

Did not care for the food at all. Got seated right away but waiter was assigned to many tables waited 20mins just to get the check then another 10 for him to come back for it.

K and I chose Jazz based on the favorable reviews on Trip Advisor. K is originally from Baton Rouge so Cajun food is in her blood. I consider my cooking skills to be the best when it comes to Cajun cuisine. We ordered the sampler appetizers and the fried portions were old and greasy. The jambalaya was good but the... More

I eat here quite a bit! The Chicken al Rue is by far my favorite dish. I always have excellent service no matter how busy it is.

Quinn was a wonderful server, the blackened chicken was perfectly seasoned, hush puppies were delicious. The only thing I would say is add more bourbon sauce to the bread pudding, otherwise , it was a great dining experience.
