Came across this great local non tourist trap place on a Saturday night. Enjoyed many Hermann wines for almost half the price that we paid down the street at a winery bar/restaurant/brewery...thing. I believe they allow smoking which for a non smoker is the only...More

We ate here on our Katy Trail bike trip. Herman is just 2 miles off the trail, and this restaurant is just 1/4-1/2 mile more from that. The variety of brat flavors is plentiful. My favorite was the maple apple, but we also tried garlic...More

Good variety of expected bar fare, specialty items and German food of course. There is a dinner menu added after 5pm. There were more than the usual side item choices, which we liked. Everything we tried was delicious. There were 4 of us. The wait...More

Don't expect much from this bar. It is loud, smokey and crowded. It is the only bar open late in town and they know it. They do have an outdoor patio that saves it from one star. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

My service was excellent. The Ruben was above average. We have a handicapped son and they have a tricky front entrance. The man man behind the bar rushed over to help. They told us about a back entrance and parking that would be easier for...More

Stopped here for lunch. The food was average, traditional lunch fare but the service was difficult. It was the kind of place where I had to get up to find a menu for the table after waiting for a server. Perhaps that is not normal...More

Loved the historic building and atmosphere. We weren't very excited about the food however. My wife had the bratburger and we couldn't figure out what kind of meat it was. Looked like a hamburger but sure didn't taste like a brat. My brat sandwich was...More

Description
Built in 1878, the Concert Hall and Barrel is the oldest continually operating tavern west of the Mississippi. Today we proudly continue a time-honored tradition of good food and good times in Hermann, Missouri. Wednesday through Sunday, we serve lunch and dinner, featuring German specialties year-round. Our menu includes a wide selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, steaks, pizzas and seafood. Our sports bar is a place where customers can eat, drink and socialize while watching the latest televised sports events on our numerous television screens. We have four big TV screens, and when the patio is open we add another! We serve a wide selection of local wines, craft beers, spirits and signature drinks. As in days of old, the spacious second-floor Concert Hall can accommodate a large group for rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, birthday parties, business meetings, and fundraisers. A private banquet room on the first floor may be reserved for smaller occasions. Located in historic downtown Hermann, Missouri, it's just a short walk from the Amtrak station, making it a great first or last stop in town.
