We ate dinner here on our second night in Hermann. We enjoyed the food tremendously, and the local wine. The service was friendly, and the prices for food and spirits can’t be beat. The only trouble I had was with the cigarette smoke from the...More

I had the pork tenderloin and it tasted frozen. Also those that had buns with their meal were stale but grilled anyway. Not edible.

As everything closes super early here, we checked out this place for dinner. Pretty simple menu. We got a burger and a brat burger. Brat burger comes with house chips and those were pretty good. We got pickle fries for an appetizer, they were okay....More

While on a trip to Hermann, me and my fiancee stopped here for dinner. The location is a old venue with a lot of history I'm sure. That is the reason that we decided to stop here. Upon entering we were not greeted so we...More

Ate at the concert barrel in the afternoon because it was one of the locations open. The reuben was good, and so was the root beer. Otherwise the kids chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese were a disappointmentMore

Built in 1878, the Concert Hall and Barrel is the oldest continually operating tavern west of the Mississippi. Today we proudly continue a time-honored tradition of good food and good times in Hermann, Missouri. Wednesday through Sunday, we serve lunch and dinner, featuring German specialties year-round. Our menu includes a wide selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, steaks, pizzas and seafood. Our sports bar is a place where customers can eat, drink and socialize while watching the latest televised sports events on our numerous television screens. We have four big TV screens, and when the patio is open we add another! We serve a wide selection of local wines, craft beers, spirits and signature drinks. As in days of old, the spacious second-floor Concert Hall can accommodate a large group for rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, birthday parties, business meetings, and fundraisers. A private banquet room on the first floor may be reserved for smaller occasions. Located in historic downtown Hermann, Missouri, it's just a short walk from the Amtrak station, making it a great first or last stop in town.
