Delicious pastries, rolls, cakes, bread and sandwiches. Though the line may be long, it does not take long.

Rumor has it this is the best place for pastries, so we had to try a few different ones. All very good, not sure if I agree they are the best in Norway.. Well worth a stop, expect long lines in summer! Do try a few different ones, they have so many! Our favorite was the one with strawberries on... More

Short stay in Lom and we just wanted some "real" tasty bread instead of the factory bread that is served almost everywhere. And why not some excellent pastry. Unfortunatly we started queuing around 15h30 h and this is really the rush hour of all the bus tourists in need for snack. Somehow victim of its own succes.

I always buy their sour dough bread when I´am in Lom. During the holidays, make sure to get there early, before the line of people gets to long. Besides bread they have have pastries and coffee, so you can take a break in your site seeing here.

We went as a family and sampled a number of items. The custard pastry was the best if he sweet items and the olive loaf was among the best breads ever.

The pizza we got there was great, the burger was ok, but they completely lack proper service. They forgot our drinks and acted like it was our fault.

Very good bread there, highly appreciated as we left France 2 weeks ago 😀 Very crowded and pretty expensive, but really good.

Description
This is a bakery/caf'è situated in the center of Lom. I was surprised it wasn't listed. It is a very nice place, and a must for those who just need a coffeebrake and a snack. The manager used to be a Chef, and still is offcourse, but he started this bakery and launched a cookbook in 2009. The book was awarded "norwegian cookbook of the year" in 2009. I really hope you list this one, together with the restaurant in the Fossheim Turisthotell.
