The food is not spectacular, but you can't beat the view, the atmosphere, and the authenticity. Go for a walk around the waterfront and finish with dinner at the Lightkeeper's. Perfect date night.

Despite being told this restaurant was popular and might be difficult to get into, we were seated right away at a table by the window. Decor isn't high end but the menu was the attraction and we were there for the cod. We both ordered ours pan-fried with the scrunchins. Fish was excellent, scrunchins sparing and we would have enjoyed... More

We had dinner here after hiking the little trail system surrounding this area. The restaurant has great views of the ocean, we saw some whale while here, and is near a little lighthouse. Food was good, the fish cakes and partridge berry parfait were real standouts. Service was excellent.

Another place that is closed for the season. Not sure when it reopens but the locals say this is the place to go.

This is a fabulous restaurant. Great seafood and friendly service. You can actually watch Icebergs and Whales nearby. Sometimes within a couple hundred feet. Fantastic area with waliing trails, shopping, a very unique museum and lighthouse all next door at Fishing Point. Shop for Labradorite Jewelry next door. Fishing Point Emporium has the largest selection in the Newfoundland and 25%... More

We went here for dinner a couple of times. The location and view are great, and the place is very popular. The service is friendly while the food is workmanlike rather than exceptional. The local beer was good. The dinner bill for two of us with wine and beer varied from $85 to $113.

Was a little disappointed. The food did not live up to my expectations or the prices. Service was rather slow, and it was not busy at the time.

If you are visiting St. Anthony's,you might enjoy having dinner here, particularly during "iceberg season". Weate 2 dinners here, and on both occasions we were treated to an iceberg in the bay. The fish and chips were good, and the service was friendly and professional. I wouldrecommend that you try the local beer made with water from icebergs. Tasty and... More

This is an excellent seafood restaurant, although items such as hamburgers, ribs and chicken are on the menu. Basically at the end of the road, this restaurant offers a great view over the ocean. The atmosphere inside is relaxed and pleasant. There is linen on the table and the restaurant is nicely decorated. Service is good (be prepared to wait... More

Light Keepers, St. Anthony This restaurant has a lovely view of the ocean from most of the approximately 18 tables which vary in size from seating 2 to 8. There were only 2 waitresses for all the tables yet they were helpful and efficient. Wait time was what would be expected at a popular restaurant. Food was good. Fishcakes were... More
