We were planning to have dinner here but saw that the prices were super high, so we just had snacks and had dinner later elsewhere. The guacamole was 80 pesos, double the price we had paid in Barra de Potosi the day before. It's nice to sit on the beach with the ocean view, but they're gouging. Not recommended.

We have to admit it... after an, almost 5 hrs highway travel, we were starving! So our judgment regarding the quality of the dishes was not objective! Hehehe. The furniture of the place is terrible. But since it was just right there on the sea shore... we didn't care! Ceiling of the place is made out of palm leaves, so... More

7 Mares is a great place to hang out on the beach. Cold beer and cocktails are great and the prices cant be beat. Seems to very quiet on weekdays but gets very busy on the weekends with families going to the beach. We had lunch here one day and stopped for drinks a couple times. Service was always very... More

Great ambiance right on the water... Our group had tiritas appetizer, tortilla soup, fish tacos, camarones en mojo de ajo. The shrimp was good but it's kinda hard to mess that up.tortilla soup was very bland, had almost know flavor. We were very excited for the tiritas ( fish strips marinated and cooked in lime juice) because we had been... More

We loved this gem on the water. Our server Willie recommended the Hawaiian Tacos--they were a total departure from the local fare but amazing! Deep fried shrimp, pineapple and cheese served egg roll style with a yummy soy dipping sauce. Also recommend the lobster a la mojo de ajo--deep fried with garlic. It's right on the beach so you can... More

Loved this place. Stayed at Present Moment, a short walk down the beach, but ate here for every lunch. Great prices, fantastic seafood, cold beer. This isn't 'fine dining' by any stretch of the imagination, but for those of you familiar with the standard 'palapa' style of beachfront eateries in Mexico, you'll like this one. Seemed to be very popular... More

Only seafood here. However, they do it well. It is quite inexpensive and good. A great value in Troncoens.

Recommended by a friend, this was definitely the best seafood in town. Simple, outdoors, great location. Cold beer and THE best coconut shrimp. Sure there may be another place to bring your friends for a fancy night out, but go for lunch here! NO DINNER! But hey, swing in the hammock, sip a Corona and watch the surf. It is... More
