We've gone here many times during football season to watch the games. It's upstairs with a great view of the ocean and village. They have very good food and the Margaritas are exceptional!

Troncones' famous local watering hole. Upstairs bar is the place to be for friends and football! (Never miss Super Bowl at Café Sol!) Where they always serve the best pizza and Margaritas in town! We miss Chris and Paul but Rosie and her friendly staff greet you by name with a smile every time! Downstairs bakery and Cafe is mm... More

Great food! Different specials every night, very reasonable prices! Pizza is amazing, done in a wood fire oven! Only second storey restaurant in Troncones, and downstairs is a fabulous ice cream and desert counter!!

Living in Mexico and ordering pizza is a big hit and miss at best. I must admit however, the pizzas at Cafe Sol among the best I've ever had SOB. The crust is thin but not a cracker and the ingredients a flavorful and the whole thing is done to perfection.

I love the crispy real potatoes that come with the breakfast and the reasonable price of everything. The sandwiches at lunch come on homemade bread and are wonderful. Of course, the gelato is a everyone's favorite!! I love the coconut gelato. This the meeting spot for lots of people and is especially popular for football, basketball or soccer on tv.... More

We frequent Cafe Sol when we are in troncones. Their ice cream is delicious and refreshing. Their breakfasts are very good - our kids went there about every morning for breakfast. And the upstairs restaurant and bar makes TOP NOTCH pizza. One night we even went as a group of 16 (they take reservations for big groups) and the service... More

Nice cool breeze up high in evening. Great sunset view. Washroom location and sewage smell at base of stairs not great. Some American style dishes. Take credit cards! Bakery downstairs is super!

Watched the last game of the World series here - the game was great, but the pizza was even better as was the salad. Bought some brownies from their bakery for later, and they were good too. Oh yeah, there were chocolate chip cookies, too. Deserts can be an issue in Mexico, so this was a real bonus.
