We visit every year since it's opened! One of my absolute favorite places to eat and hang out with friends and family after playing on the lake! By boat or car, it's accessible. Service is great, food is terrific, music is on point and the gator bites paired with some "swamp water" just makes this place unique! Grab a souvenir... More

Have been there several times. Always lots of trash under the deck that guests walk past if arriving by boat. The last few times we visited we had to smell so,ething gross---probably the septic system. Not at all appetizing.

Why would anyone go here.. smells like sewage outside and in the bathrooms we almost threw up because of the smell and people want to eat and drink around this yuck, This place is filthy and disgusting not to mention they don't even clean up around there place. This place is outdated, dirty, smelly. So many beautiful new waterfront bars... More

Love the Cajun influence of the food but you do not have to eat Cajun if you don't want to. This place is hopping during the season yet while it caters to young people, you will see people of all ages there. So that is nice. Always had a nice time as it is a perfect place to party.

Reminds me of a trip to New Orleans, their crab cakes are great, and the prices are in line with a good ole' cajun restaurant.

We attended a wedding at this venue. It was one of the best wedding we've been to. The food was great, the area had plenty of room, and the view was beautiful on the water. Negatives were: the staff wore t-shirts and shorts for a formal event, there was a few couches that were ripped and dirty and the staff... More

I guess if you had plenty to drink this place would be ok. Food was average at best. Bathrooms awful. The whole place smelled like sewer.

Make sure you try the swamp water. We may have sampled a few beverages but the swamp water rocked. The food was good. Sadly it was pouring while we were there and half of our group was getting wet. Then you had to get in the rain for the restrooms too. It's a great sunny day place to stop on... More

A group stopped in for dinner on a hot afternoon. Don't know if the AC was broken, if they didn't have any or it just wasn't working but it was very hot inside. No fans, no breeze--nothing! Just thick air. We chose several of the Cajun/New Orleans selections--Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo and Jambalaya. No one tried the alligator. We... More

We boat to Shady Gators for an evening meal. It is a friendly place, and the food is reasonably priced.
