We went here for my girlfriends birthday and the staff were all very good. The food was good value, well presented; a home made feel to the cooking. The mixed grill was under £20 and a bit of a monster, everything was hot and clearly freshly made. We had a side of onion rings which were evidently made on site... More

The 1st floor is still the Town Hall of the Kenfig Corporation and it's an amazing space full of history and mystique. The Town... More

Book in advance at weekends, you won't be disappointed, fairly varied menu and excellent quality food, proper real potato home made chips. Excellent and friendly service, gets busy early evening but great for late diners around 8

Called in after a long walk on the beach to find an open fire and a crowded bar. Luckily there was one free table which we grabbed and ordered our Sunday roast. The quantity and quality of the food are excellent. Add a wide selection of real ales to the mix and you have the perfect pub for Sunday lunch... More

Rang to book a table for Sunday lunch and was informed not to book, but just turn up. Arrived with my elderly parents to be told 'No walk in's now'. I explained we had been told to turn up at this time. The lady very abruptly dismissed us, her attitude was so rude and impolite, not a even a 'sorry'.... More

We were taken here by friends who live in Port Talbot. The pub is steeped in history and has lots of interesting features.
