Lots of different dogs, sausages and brats. Many, many condiments and good size side orders of fries. Nothing here for dieters. Reasonable prices - better for carryout than eating in (only limited counters with concrete table/chairs outside.

Best Chicago dog west of Chicago!! Great fries! And the drive thru is awesome! Love the tiny shack feel. Trendy and cool before their time!

A fun place to get the best hot dogs (or sausage) in ST Louis. Every imaginable option and topping for your sandwich. Lots of local character, frequented by locals, local celebs and those looking for a different lunch option. Not a lot of seating, usually standing room to order, but the line moves fast. Everything is fresh and the buns... More

The Chicago dogs have gotten the most press, but the fries are good with seasoning salt. The Chicago dogs are popular because of their adherence to "what a Chicago hotdog should include" such as celery salt on the inside of the seed-sprinkled buns, pickles, onions, and tomatoes. You have a rough job eating more than one or two (if you... More

Truly the closest thing you will get to a Chicago Hot Dog in STL but it is pricey and someone should hire a cleaning person! Some of the grease and dirt I saw was there the first time I visited 6 years ago! A little cleaning would g a long way towards making the price justified. Broken window and trash... More

I just moved to the neighborhood and was stoked to find a cool dive. I ordered a Ruben dog, a beef tamale, and fries. The tamale was decent for where it is. The dog was old and tough, the toppings and Reuben like features were just an amalgamation of weak kraut and a limp excuse for a pickle. The service... More

Not much - until you visit Woofie's in Overland - a suburb of Saint Louis, not far from airport. (5 miles) The hotdogs with everything are just sensational, and I'm really not a hotdog person. But if you are, you will love them even more than I do. The fries - are the closest to real FRENCH fries (from France)... More

I'll add a disclaimer; i didn't grow up a 'woofie's kid' and have some nostalgic tie to the place. My review is totally based on the experience, food, taste, etc. Pros: Hot dogs were good, buns were soft, toppings were great. Cons: Expensive for what it is (two hot dogs, one large fry and two drinks was close to $20)... More

We loved woofies! We had the woofie dog fully loaded and it was amazing. Their relish is so delicious and all the ingredients taste fresh and thoughtful. Far more than expected from a dive-y hot stand. Great service as well!

Warning! This review may upset those with delicate digestive systems. I like many others, was listening to a KMOX live broadcast by Bobbie Costas. He challenged Football Cardinal Dan Dierdorff, a Hall of Famer, to get to Woofie's by the end of the broadcast for the hour and before the news at the Top of the hour was over, some... More
