Wonderful food and service. Very need decor and amazing wings and nachos. The menu was limited, but the drinks were great!

This is the type of place we love. It's off the beaten, unique, and has great food. We stopped for lunch. Our group had the reuben, French Dip, Chili, and Turkey Cheddar. Very good!

What a great find.... A truly local spot...when we entered the door, everyone turned to see who was coming in. A fun and friendly establishment. Hot soup and a sandwich on a cool and very rainy Saturday afternoon was perfect. Great food and exceptional service. The sandwiches were wonderfully prepared and the soup was pretty good, too! A smoke free... More

This deli has a history of making the best Ruben sandwich and most unusual chili in town for as long as I can remember. Local beer memorabilia, cans bottles, current and old, and music on the weekend.

Charming classic bar deli. Antiques and atmosphere. Great food. The service was good and had a home town feel. I am sure that nights are fun too - little set for live music. The food was great.

Great atmosphere true to how this place looked back in the day. Great service, food is excellent as well. Engaging and gracious staff. Very rare find in St Joseph. Stopped by on recent visit and relived childhood memories. Will be back on next trip to town. Recommend the Reuben, suspect most anything will be good.

Water was good. Menu was useful to pass the time. Waited 20 minutes for server to come back & take my order. She never did so I left. Saw her walk back & forth a few times & actually walk by. Never asked if she could take my order or if I was waiting for other people to show up.

Stopped here on our way through to Kansas. Wonderful food, great, friendly, service by Alissa even though she had a now show for work that day. The I had the half sandwich and chili--the chili was great, sandwich very good. Wife loved her tuna sandwich. Alissa talked us into the cheesecake, one if a kind-ish, but very, very good. Interior... A funky bar with a nice deli. Service is friendly and efficient. Fine for families. Had excellent sandwiches prepared to order, food was quick and well-made. Only drawback is that even though the bar is in a area sheltered from the bar, a lot of cigarette smoke filters over. For nonsmokers it is stinky; if you can't tolerate smoke, definitely... More

I was in town on business and one of the locals took me here for lunch. The sandwich I had was among the best ive eaten. I really liked the old school decor too. It made me feel at home, I guess I'm a little old school myself.

Thank Dleep
