First time at the Rib Shack and the pork ribs and wings were great. Served hot. Sides were good and service was good.

While visiting St. Louis we researched online the BBQ places. We decided on The Rib Shack. It did not disappoint! The food was finger licking good. The dry rub on the moist ribs was so tasty, the chicken and brisket were succulent and the sides, yummy. Could have eaten more. The yam had a hint of perfect sweetness, the summer... More

Ok, this ain't gonna be Kansas City but as far as St Louie is concerned you'll get a good feed and walk away content. Baby backs are tender, cabbage has it going on as do the sides. Actually, liked the BBQ sauce. I asked for it on the side and the dry rub on the ribs with the sauce made... More

If you want to enjoy great BBQ and lots of it, The Rib Shack is your kind of place. Yes, shack is appropriate but all the great pits are, right? There smoking out front in the parking lot so you can't even drive by without the smell calling you in. Here's the best part, the friendly people. I felt right... More

Poor food all the way around. I would say that the employees were very nice and provided excellent service. That said you cannot out serve bad food. Ribs were tough. Brisket was thinly sliced and dried out. Who would ever slow cook a good brisket and then do that? No alcohol served. This was one of the worst BBQ experiences... More

The cashier was very friendly, we went there to attend a event for a colleague who was retiring. I ordered the beef brisket lunch combo with a side of Mac n cheese. It was reasonable priced and delicious. I also got caramel cake to go which was okay.

On a tip from our hotel front desk staff, my wife and I went to the Rib Shack on 1300 Cass Street. Please note, after following Google Maps on my cell phone to the location, several times I almost chickened-out and did a U-turn - the neighborhood was a bit rough (so we decided to do take-out). In fact, I... More

The food is very good, I recommend the barbecue , beans are the best I've had in a long time , it hurts a little disorganized as when we arrived at the hotel we had not been given all the food we asked and we were very long to return !

Nothing fancy by any stretch but a solid rib joint. Very good ribs and excellent sauce. Great sides.

I will NEVER go back especially to the one on Cass. I went there earlier last month and they have messed up twice. -First, I look in my container and they give me a regular polish. They must of thought I wasn’t going to look at my order because I went thru the drive-thru. -After bringing it to her attention,... More
