If you love traditional old school good sandwiches, this is the place for you. There bread is soft white old school and delicious. Good portions of the meat and great cheese. This is for sure a MUST have whenever I visit St. Louis.

I stopped by for lunch for a quick bite. I went into the bakery side. Ordered the Amighetti's special, which is a great Italian sandwich made of ham, roast beef, salami, lettuce, pickles, tomato, special sauce and pepperoncini on Amigetti's Italian bread. I got a whole and brought half home to my husband who was thrilled. I also got the... More

Had to get the Italian Fig Cookies. Cookies sold by the pound or half pound. Tasted like my grandmother used to make. Had a large selection of baked goods and breads. The Hill area is still authentic Italia Americana.

Amighetti's is a great family friendly restaurant. The sandwiches are fresh and you must try the Amighetti's special sub. It's a large portion so be prepared to wrap some up or share with a friend. The service is very friendly and the food is fresh. We always have a really good time when we visit!

Amighetti's is great for lunch, has a quaint dining area and the bakery to boot for dessert. We love the bread and purchase to take home.

When you visit The Hill, you have to get an Amighetti's Special Sandwich! Oh my gosh, it is the best! If you don't want to dine in, you can walk up to the to-go counter (on the bakery side) and get one to go and take home. They are super affordable and jam packed with meat, cheese, on home baked... We finally ran into the restaurant. We beat the crowd and got tables. The special sandwich tasted very good but is thick and the bread is hard. I took the top off and ate the meat and bottom bun. I would like to try some pasta there. Also had a side of gazpacho and it was very spicy. I have... More

We had a group of nine people that took a tour of "The Hill." Everyone agreed to try Amighetti's for lunch. It was a very busy place, we found out why, the food was very good. We had good service and friendly people. We will definately go back. The lasagna is AMAZING!!
