If you are looking for a restaurant with what you might call "normal food", this is not the place for you. Most everything on their dinner menu is a little different. I was pleased with what I ordered. However it was a chopped salad. I would recommend that if you are a salad person. My son ate the carbonara pasta.... More

Wonderful restaurant, very attentive wait staff. A fun place to have dinner and a drink. I adore their Signature Garlic Chicken and the bread pudding is beyond compare. The bar is wonderful and they go out of their way to make sure you have a memorable, enjoyable experience. Top of the line in every way!

Took group of 6 there for dinner. 2 hours dinner and it was not crowded. We had 5 of the 6 there at 645 pm. Ordered appetizers that took 30 minutes to arrive. Placed order at 730 for meal and waited 30 minutes for food. Again only 15 others in place. For the prices expected better and faster.

I've been wanting to go here since it opened in 1995! I had the signature garlic chicken. It was perfect. Chicken was delish and hearty servings. Our waiter was friendly and fast. Our busboy was great too! The menu has a nice selection and I will go back again!

We waited one hour for our order. They had a brunch menu with no breakfast item in it. No pancake nothing. Also there was one small restroom that was kind of dirty. I would say too dirty for a $15 pasta and one hour wait!

The Wild Fire has had a great reputation with many of it's guests; I'm not a fan; I found the decor good but with a large crowd and the high ceilings it's does not allow one to have a conversation without raising your voice; floors where dirty cracker and bread crumbs paper a silent butler a broom and dust pan... The atmosphere is fine but the food is barely mediocre. The quiche had a frozen pie crust and the fruit salad was not fresh. The chèvre salad was fair but the chicken wasn't great on it. Not a good find! Said it was in the nytimes article on the door but must have been more than a decade ago.

Very accommodating. Very delicious. Very enjoyable. The family was looking for a place to eat after coming from the Zoo and heading into more sight seeing. Great stop.

We have gone to Wild Flower a lot, although not recently until we dined there the other night. It really faces tough competition in the neighborhood, and needs to up its game to stay busy. Duck confit and calamari appetizers were good. The service was very slow, I think they were understaffed, and it took a while for us to... More

Description
The Wild Flower was created in 1995 by owner, Tracy Czarnec. Her vision was to bring together American gourmet dining with a casual atmosphere. The decision to open in the Central West End seemed natural. A trendy area with a cosmopolitan feel, the West End turned out to be the perfect place for the Wild Flower and diners looking for more than just another restaurant. It's been said many times, the Wild Flower is the Midwest's answer to a Greenwich Village hot spot; a charming atmosphere combined with a creative and delectable menu. There truly is something for everyone at the Wild Flower.
