We stopped in to Thai Gai Yang Cafe based on a recommendation from the local paper. Unfortunately our experience indicated that this place was not up to the reviews. They offer quite a wide selection of different Thai dishes but perhaps they should concentrate on...More

This place is never busy. They have wonderful food. I love the spicy basil chicken and we always order spring rolls. It's quiet and easy to get to. Very much worth a stop.

Wasn't sure with all the bad reviews, but gave it a shot. The crab Rangoon was great, the Thai tea could have been sweeter for me, but was good, the Tom Ka soup was the best I've had since my mother in laws, and the...More

I wasn't too hungry when I stopped here, and from seeing the reviews later--that must have been a good thing. Their Tom Yum (with chicken) soup was very good--flavorful with a plentiful amount of chicken and mushrooms, but the spring roll appetizer was mediocre at...More

Went with great expectations...returned disapointed. The menu was limited to chicken and veggies...no item in fish which is most unusual for a Thai Cafe. The shrimp came for an additional amount ! The house salad was a small serving of lettuce, neglible onion strips, carrot...More

Good attentive service, but the food seems to be an afterthought. It seems as if they can't remember their own recipes and cook the same dishes consistently. Too bad. I used to eat there every week.

I used to love Thai Gai Yang. Went back last night and was served literally inedible food. It smelled like cat p/ss. My dinner partner theorized that they used bad fish sauce. Could not go back to try again even if I wanted to--my stomach...More
