Good ice cream. The historic value adds to the uniqueness of this. Parking can be a pain but they move you through quickly.

Fantastic sundaes and "concretes" but the real experience is standing around on a weekend afternoon, enjoying amazing frozen custard and visiting with strangers like they are old friends--this is a must when visiting the city!

The flavours are plentiful, one visit is just not enough. Ted Drewes is a must-do custard place in St. Louis with its placement right along the Historic Route 66. If that's not convincing enough, then the astounding flavour, sundae, size combinations should do the trick on your embezzled eyes.

Ted Drewes has long lines at night, but they move fast. We've always had pleasant experiences with the staff and customers, after all EVERYONE LOVES THE PLACE. It's expensive, but worth the ride!

Ted Drewes has the best frozen custard ever, bar none. But it's not only the heavenly flavors, the taste, and the texture of the custard, it's the experience of ordering and eating this most wonderful dish. You can give an order, change for multiple people it over and over again, and in the end, the staff gets it correct, without... More

If you are considered best in the world I guess it is worth a try. Everyone in our group who went or has gone raved about the place. It was good. My wife really liked her sundae. So much so We visited twice over the weekend. They handle the crowds well. I was surprised at the lines given it is... More

I was told this was a not to miss St. Louis experience. After a friend took me there last Saturday afternoon, I have to concur, Having sampled both the frozen custard, and tried to suck down a thick mocha choclate shake that you needed a spoon to dig in to, all I can say is WOW! Takes you back to... More

Don't be intimidated by the crowds! We went on a Sunday evening while visiting from out of town and people were everywhere! We were actually able to park right in the lot as cars were coming and going all the time. They had someone directing cars and there was also parking in a bank lot across the street since they...
