Our friends recommended Shu Feng. Well ... I'm not I totally get the appeal. The menu is broad. The food is fairly good, although not outstanding. The hot and sour soup wasn't particularly hot and lacked the variety of ingredients I expected. The egg rolls...More

Not much has changed at this average small chinese storefront restaurant, in the Oriental section of University City. Shu Feng used to be a favorite, go to...but there are a number of high quality family owned restaurants within blocks. The Shu Feng "special" beef, was...More

I was very skeptical about this place. It's a hole in the wall and looked a little sketchy. Our flight was delayed and arrived late. We were craving Asian food and this was the only one open so we took our chances. We ordered moo...More

Do yourself a favor.  Order delivery from Wonton King.  If you're dining in, go to Mai Lee.  DO NOT EAT HERE.  This was the ~worst~ customer service I've ever experienced and it was for a delivery order - where you're supposed to barely interact with...More

A small family owned restaurant, that has wonderful service when the owner is present. She has a remarkable memory for what you like to eat, and makes great suggestions. This is an inexpensive and smaller restaurant but their food is wonderful.

I really liked the vegetable egg rolls and the kung pao chicken (not breaded and fried, yay!), and the sesame chicken was pretty good too. We had friendly service and got to sit right away which I always like. The waitress was friendly but I...More

Shu Feng is our favorite Chinese restaurant, by far. The dinner tonight was at best average, and I ended up taking it home, because it was inedible. It is Christmas day, but the restaurant while busy was not crazy busy. The wait staff was different,...More
