Alison and her team provided a beautiful buffet for my party of over 100 people. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she catered for a variety of dietary requirements: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, children's food. The comments I had from my guests were all very positive. Alison's team were smartly dressed and were courteous and friendly as they... More

This coffee shop is the highlight of my week. Luckily, I work close by and have lunch there many times a week. I make use of the free wifi and am able to do work in a warm, comfortable, and calm atmosphere. The staff are absolutely lovely, smiley, and funny! They make me feel welcome every time I come here.... More

A smile wouldn't go amiss in this place. I often wonder why people start businesses dealing with the public then treat them indefinitely. Basic choices nothing special. Would go for coffee but not food.

We popped in for a spot of lunch whilst visiting the nearby Ice Cream Farm. The entrance is a little hidden from the main road and to be honest we thought the place was closed as it didn't look particularly inviting from the outside. But once we ventured inside we felt welcome and the decor is light and airy. We... More

On enteriing first impressions are fresh and clean and tantalising smells. The menu was particularly interesting and made it hard to choose from a lovely selection of dishes, at a good price. Between the three of us we chose the soup of the day, sandwiches, and avocado and egg on brown toast with drinks. We were there a couple of... More

We only intended to stop for a coffee in its comfortable surroundings but ended up having home made leek & potato soup with a roll and a toasted ham/cheese & pickle toastie too. My soup was delicious and great value at £3.95 My husband's toastie was made with 'real' ham and came with a well dressed and presented side salad... More

The selection of cakes here is a problem, there are just too many, who could choose just one? I persuaded my husband, not a cake fan, to have a slice so enabling me to try two without appearing greedy. My non cake eater has apparently been converted, he didn't leave a crumb. The coffee is also excellent, strong and full... More

Often a visitor to this cafe, enjoying good food in pleasant surroundings and excellent service. I do recommend the bacon and egg sandwich, with black pudding if you request. Good for lunch or just a mid morning cup of tea

How lucky we are to live in a village with such a great Cafe on our doorstep. Alison does great theme nights once a month and we have been to most of them and they are always wonderful and such good value for money. we have already booked for the next one in February. Thank you for such wonderful food.
