My relatives have spent a lot of time in this bar over the years. It's a great joint and the KENO is so fun!

great food. the service is good.. the drinks were great.. and the staff was very friendly.. and easy on the eyes.. a great day! wonderful old bar which is a huge piece of Butte's history. a must see!!!
This restaurant is different , you are able to sit on stools and watch the cook prepare the food, right in front of you like it was back in time. The outside still like the 40's era, reasonable priced.
We came here twice. Once for drinks which were tasty and a decent pour. You can get the Orphan Girl and local beers as well as the standard bar fare. Also came for breakfast which was served in good portions and a great value.
I remember going into the M & M back in 1947 and there was wide open gambling with slots and everything else. Go when they are serving traditional pastys which the Welsh miners used to call "A letter from 'ome"

The big back bar is still in place but has an expresso machine on it. The menu was too yuppie and not much choice.

Great spot for breakfast. Good value for basic breakfast fare. Adequately varied menu, and flexible and helpful staff.
