If you are staying in East Glacier or just traveling through, stopping at Brownies is a must. It is a wonderful place for pastry and ice cream. They make their own huckleberry pie and it is divine! We had the pie on several occasions while staying in East Glacier.

Quick breakfast options in the morning with great Montana coffee! I visited at the end of summer season - luckily Brownies was still open to serve travelers going through East Glacier.

Specialty coffee, homemade pastries, breakfast burritos.... Coupled with a little mini mart, postal site, hostel, homemad e pizza, ice cream, former sandwiches and homemade pizza.... And open until 8 pm... When everything else is closed. Do I need to say more? I had breakfast there three mornings and lunch once... Yum!

I bought a huckleberry pie here at Brownie's to take back to our cabin rental for dessert. I was prepared to pay a high amount but never did I expect it to be $35. Their pies are cut into 6 large slices and sold for $3.50 per slice, according to the sign in the display cabinet. If that is the... More

We stopped in here while exploring the east side of the Road to the Sun that crosses over Glacier National Park (road was closed in the 'middle' due to snow). Grabbed lunch to go and kept on moving. We both had wraps (mine was loaded with veggies) and he also had a piece of huckleberry pie (pie did not make... More

We stopped in on our way out of glacier national park looking for an afternoon treat for the long drive. We got a small coffee delicious! Then a cinnamon twist, delightful and a peanut butter cookie, crispy my favorite. Both were fantastic. So good I forgot to take a photo.

For breakfast or a dessert treat, there's fresh baked items at reasonable prices, and also hot egg sandwiches, espresso, coffee. Inside there's about 4 tables to sit & eat. Get your quarters from the cashier to do laundry next door. 30 minute wash ($1.75) and 30 minute dryer ($1.75).

We stopped in here several times over a couple of days. It is next door to a public laundry and so a perfect place to grab a beer or a delicious fresh baked treat while washing your gear. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

This funky bakery/hostel is the perfect mountain eatery. The cinnamon rolls are to die for as was the aromatic coffee. Had a pastry in the little dining area while observing the comings and goings of back packers. A great experience.

Everything here is homemade and fresh and absolutely delicious. The ice cream melts -- ie -- it's REAL. Pastry was homemade. They even had espresso. Clean bathrooms too, and friendly staff.
