Eating here is like stepping back in time at an old family diner very good food and the staff service is very friendly. A nice place to take the family for a fun time for lunch or fun deserts.

Coney sauce, red hots, chili, what ever you call it they done did it right. I had it on a hot dog and some french fries with nacho cheese and its almost indescribable. Topped it all off with a milkshake that was made with real ice cream! Can't wait to try breakfast only wish they were open 24hrs.

We stopped in Great Falls for lunch and saw this place and decided to stop. We're glad we did. When I walked in I immediately thought of the old Woolworth lunch counters from my youth. Later in chatting with the manager he told me that is exactly what it used to be. The stools and the counter are original and... More

We did not actually eat here but our experience merits the owner a rating , We were looking for a place to eat in downtown Great Falls and were having a tough time. We walked into the diner slightly after 2 PM. As it turns out, the diner had closed at 2 PM but the owner was very gracious and... More

Stopped in on recommendation for something cool. It was a step back in time. Wonderful diner downtown historic Great Falls. Loved the surroundings, and style. We ordered the diner special burger. It was a unique burger. A mix of a regular burger with diner sloppy joe sauce on top of. Was messy with a little kick. Was very good diner burger.... More

Very nice breakfast/lunch place. Pros. Food and service are good. Lots of memorabilia to look at. Cons. The booth cushions could use a little make over.

It was a perfect choice for breakfast. I had the vegetarian omelette and my husband had a western omelette. The coffee was strong and plentiful, the omelettes were HUGE! and AWESOME! They were at least a 3 egger served with a marbled rye toast and hash browns. The place is a nice change from IHOP's while on the road and... More

I enjoy eating breakfast all over Great Falls and 5th Street is one of my top 3 favorites. It is the old Monkey Ward diner with great food, great milkshakes and great atmosphere. I recommend the diner's breakfast special of coffee and SOS over toast!!!

Food was okay at best, but staff was very helpful (and had celiac options available) The atmosphere was fun for the kids but the bathrooms could use some renovations or a good cleaning.

Really a great place to eat. You'll be glad you went! the service was outstanding. Reminded me of the good old days when food was not so commercialized and all the same.
