Was staying in Hardin for a week while we worked @ Yellowtail Dam. We ate breakfast here almost every morning as they are about the only place that serves breakfast @ 7 am in town...besides McDonald's which I try to avoid at all cost! There...More

This place wasn't busy at 9 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. The food was served hot and was very good. Our server was working alone but kept right on top of it.

I found this restaurant on our car's GPS, so I had no idea how good or bad it was. We do enjoy eating at one-of-a-kind family owned eateries and it was close to our motel, so we tried it. I ordered a rib-eye steak cooked...More

Stopped for lunch. Quaint little place with a family like atmosphere. You know it has to be good if the local sheriff and police officers eat there. Rueben sandwich was good and the gems were not greasy. The coconut custard pie was fresh and delicious.

Our server was the best, ready with coffee refills and cheerful conversation. Biscuits and gravy were excellent, eggs done to perfection. The bacon was smoky and delicious, hash browns done just right, and even the marble rye toast was exceptionally flavorful. Bonus: they're right next...More

Right next door to our hotel (Lariat Motel). Service was good and food was just what we were wanting. Had breakfast there (3) mornings and it was always good. You know it is good when the locals are still eating there. We try to avoid...More

Ordered two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Delicious. The eggs were jumbo; the bacon was thick, country style but crispy. The place was mobbed; waitresses were moving as fast as they could so don't be in a rush when you go.

It was good food for a quick stop. It was a diner, so nothing new. But it was good. The staff was friendly and informative about places to go locally.

I seem to recall that about 30 people could comfortably fit inside the restaurant. But as the other poster said, you should simply call them. The benefit of eating here is that there wasn't any other restaurant open in the... More
