Very friendly staff period it was clean and very comfortable. The food was very good and reasonably priced. My husband and I are new to town and they were very helpful.

Very clean nice place, I believe it is run by the Amish or Hooterites, excellent food, and it is a real Butcher shop.

We had breakfast here because it looked like Heather's wasn't open for breakfast. It was good. You order at the bakery/meat counter and then sit at the table and they bring your food. We had scrambled eggs and bacon and one had french toast. It...More

Every time I have the chance to eat breakfast at the "Nook it is like eating a great home cooked meal and I don't have to clean up the dishes. They make great cinnamon and caramel rolls, also.

You know this is a good diner by the number of pickups out front. Popular with locals, the food and meats are excellent.

Owned by an Mennonite family. Only offers breakfast and lunch. On main highway in Plains. Fantastic place to eat for a great price. Also a bakery and deli. It is worth the trip to eat there!
