Had to go to the register and hope that someone would notice that we needed our check and wanted to leave - they were all outside smoking. Inattentive staff, lackluster food. We won't return to this one - we have visited other Penny's and the service and food were much better. The food seemed to be overpriced for what was... More

Diner food, and that is exactly what you get. It is fairly quick and very convenient if you are staying at the Oak Tree. There are better breakfasts in town, but there are worse. It does have a 50's atmosphere that is kind of cool.

Had a voucher from the hotel for breakfast. They are open 24 hrs., so that's convenient. If you are in a hurry, I would not suggest it but if you like the diner feel and older music, give it a try. The waitress was the cook and cashier at 5:30 am, so she did fair. Food was decent. Prices may... More

Its an OK place to eat. Stayed at Oaktree Inn so got coupon for free breakfast ..... choice of 2 options or $7.75 towards anything else on menu.. Service is very slow! Only 2 people working there ..... a cook and a waitress. Food was good and plentiful but had to wait and wait. Took 1 1/2 for breakfast that... More

Pick your own table, (try to find a clean one) and prepare to hear "I will be with you in a minute) for at least 15 minutes. Ask for water as she walks back and forth and maybe you will get some. Same for a cup of coffee. When you do finally make your order, ask for a glass of... More

This restaurant is like a 50's diner. Really fun to look at the interesting decor. We had breakfast only and it was good. It was just plain home cooking at it's best. The prices were reasonable and the waitress was a good server.

This is a good diner to eat at for breakfast but don't expect anything special. Food is average but will fill you up. I would compare this place to a Denny's or I-Hop in comparison to quality. Its a cool retro 50's design and could really use a juke box to add to its ambiance! All in all for the... More

We ate here because we were staying at the Oak Tree Inn and it is right next door. I've read several negative reviews, but we found it to be a fun experience. Penney's is a 50's, 60's type diner, with lots of chrome, bright colors and lots of memorabilia of that era. They also play typical music of that time,... More

Staff will lift your spirit. We tried lunch, late snack, and breakfast. Very pleased. I'm not sure but I think it is open 24/7. Parking is shared with motel so parking is kind of a problem.
