I've been to Chez Bubba 5 or 6 times now, and I have yet to eat any of the entrees. Why? The appetizers are just that good. My first time in we ordered the BBQ nachos, and I have yet to change my path. We've added the serving tray sized soft pretzel, which comes with amazing dipping sauces, but every... More

We've stopped twice, about 3 months apart. Had outstanding service and wonderful food both times. Between myself, my wife, and our 10 year old son, we've ordered a variety of different dishes. All of us love this place!

This little town is right off the interstate outside of Lincoln. They have good beer selection and they have great BBQ and burgers. It's fun to support small communities and their businesses, particularly when they are really good. This Cafe falls into that category. Try something different that is not out of the way at all.

My friends and I drove cross country and stumbled across this place looking for a place to stop for dinner. This is one of those small town gems you find by luck of the draw. It had good reviews here and on Yelp and I see why. There is plenty of parking but to get to the restaurant you need... More

Home cooking from scratch. Good barbeque. Great service. Comfortable. Plenty of parking even for RVs and Semis. I'll be back for sure.

It was pretty good food and pretty good service. The bbq nachos are good for either a meal or appetizer. The place is on a gravel road in the middle of nowhere which makes it fun to visit. Very unique place but loud - concrete floors and ceilings.

I really liked this place. I had both sliced and chopped brisket and corn bread. You've got to have corn bread in corn country, right? It was an interesting experience. The place was filled with crop scientists from the major companies in the field. You'd never know that most of these field workers, wearing muddy boots, have PhDs. Anyway, the... More

We're from a small town in Iowa. So fun to check out what other small towns have to offer. We were getting hungry, so checked out trip advisor. This was right off I-80. We both had the cod special, veggies and the best sweat potato fries! Service was quick!

My son goes to college in Seward and were introduced to this place by a few of the coaches. We had the opportunity to eat supper here on 2/26/16. The Bbq Ribs and chicken wings were great without having an overpowering amount of smoke! The sides were plentiful and desserts....WOW! This is definitely one of that areas hidden gems. Awesome... Chez (pronounced "Shay", meaning "home of" in French) Bubba Cafe serves mouth-watering barbeque, steaks, home-ground burgers and more. Located in Goehner, Nebraska, we offer comfortable, home town dining and a full bar. Our outdoor beer garden is adjacent to the village park making it easy to enjoy good food and then send the kids off to play while you enjoy adult conversation or our weekend entertainment. Chez Bubba owners and business partners Brennan and Patty Lavelle and Matt and Julie Howe used to get together at each other's homes on a regular basis to discuss the possibility of opening a restaurant in their small town of Goehner. The vision for their cafe was a nice place where you could get fine food or meat-n-potatoes in a comfortable, down-home atmosphere.
