We get back to Lincoln about once a year, and usually have dinner with friends at The Oven. We have never been disappointed. Excellent meals - large wine selection - and always friendly service. Highly recommended.

The four of us arrived 30 minuets early for a 7pm Saturday night reservation. We were seated right away at a pretty busy night. We started with the mixed appetizer, a combination of samosas, papadum, chicken and vegetable pakoros. It was a nice starter for...More

By far favorite Indian restaurant in Lincoln! Wonderful dishes. Love the stuffed paratha and mulligatawny soup.

The lentil soup at this place (mulligatawny) is fabulous - lentils, rice, cilantro and spices. Very flavorful, spicy and warm - great on a windy winter Lincoln day. A five on the soup. Worth visiting this place for the soup alone. I had potato, pea...More

My stepson chose the Haymarket location for his birthday celebration. I was not real familiar with the menu, but would recommend the Lamb Marsa with sauce. For an appetizer, consider the bread with chutney sauce. I am not a big fan of curry, so this...More

Went late in the afternoon on a Friday, took my 3yo. We sat in a lovely table near the window so we could watch passers by. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and sides, including the infamous Mulligatawny soup. It was amazing! My 3yo enjoyed...More

Where do 90,000 Husker fans go after the game? Not to eat Indian food! I was able to walk right in and enjoy a tremendous meal. Restaurant next door had 1.5 hour wait! We had naan and samosa as appetizers and it was so good....More

My first experience with Indian food was very nice. The food was delicious, the portions were very large and the service was good. The decor was also really nice. Highly recommend this place.

I recommend Tandoori chicken from the oven, a side of Saag (spinach), a side of Raita (cucumber and yogurt salad), papadam (crispy thin bread), and rice. This meal is both very healthy and filling and is not at all spicy.
