The homemade chili was tastey and the service was prompt, polite and professional. If the chilli wasn't served in a styrofoam bowl, it would of been even better. The restaurant prefers cash and will put on a dollar surcharge if you use a credit card.

Very cold beer in frosted mug. Excellent chili. Intimate, at least inside. Larger outside seating area. Unpretentious but highly recommended

Great little authentic bar/cafe. Does a great home made chilli. Right in the centre of town. Not much else to do but sit and relax. Next to the ghost town.

Read the reviews on the chili, so I had to try while passing through. They didn't lie and the chili was excellent. We were greeted outside by some fun, local, older gentleman that really set the mood for inside. Cheeseburger was delicious as well. If you are looking for an experience that embraces the old west hospitality, then stop here... More

I'm very surprised at the bad reviews. This place is amazing. We stayed one night in Beatty on-route to Las Vegas. It was meant to just be a head down night after a long drive. We went for a short walk to get the drive out of our system and found this bar. Had a beer and then decided to... More

Interesting place, filled with locals. Cheap draft beer. Small inside bar area, and larger outside area with heaters. Very enjoyable if you want to experience bar life in a small, authentic Nevada town.

While we were visiting Death Valley a park ranger suggested driving up to the ghost mining town of Rhyolite and having chili in nearby Beatty. This tiny wooden bar drips atmosphere, but if you don't want smoking, a resident dog on one of the few chairs, and chatting with the colorful locals, then skip it. If you appreciate hilarious kitschy... More

What a fun place this is! After spending the day in Death Valley, we were famished. The cast of characters at this place was something else including a cowboy displaying Nevadas open carry laws, chain smokers, dogs, & eclectic mix of others. The inside area is tiny. We had hamburgers & chili. Everything had a very homemade feel to it... More

Super small but great friendly staff. Great burgers and chili and reasonable. Took our seven year old and he loved it. They have outdoor seating but it was too cold. I'd go back!
