We ate dinner and breakfast here on an overnight stay in Caliente. 5 couples were on a overnight ATV ride from AZ. There aren't a lot of choices to eat but this was a fun little place. Lots of unique decorations. Tables and chairs are mismatched but add to its charm. It is kind of small, holds about 30, but... More

It's a rainy and cold Saturday morning when we stop in at the Branding Iron for breakfast. There are only a few choices in Caliente, and this is one of the better ones. Bacon and eggs were good, the Branding Iron special even better: biscuits and gravy on top of sausage patties and cheese on a bed of hash browns.... More

I was passing through Caliene and the Brandin Iron was a pleasant surprise. I had a simple breakfast and it was the best eggs and bacon that I have had in a long time. Generous but not outrageous portions. The service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this place.

For dinner I had the 8oz steak with, boxed mashed potatoes and gravy and the "vegetable" was a sliced tomato, also had a dinner salad. It was good and the steak was tasty. My husband had the special which was the "hillbilly stack" and oh my GAH it was so good, definitely not healthy diet food but sooo tasty. It... More

We had breakfast here on our way driving through town and it filled us up all day. The biscuits and gravy were beyond delicious and the hash browns and eggs were done perfectly. 2 huge plates of great food for $9 each, the service was friendly and helpful and it has a very historic, homey atmosphere.

We stopped by here a few weeks ago, and it was pretty solid. Nothing I would rave about, but not bad for a small town diner. Our server was amazing! We would go back.

The small town of Caliente does not have an extensive list of dining options, however, for breakfast, we found the Brandin' Iron to be most excellent. Located in a building that appears to be in a time warp, the interior was quite a history lesson and the waitress/manager was willing and able to provide the details. The food was very... More

We eat here every time we come to Caliente. The portions are large and prices are good. Never had a bad tasting meal here. There is also a bar, if yoy like that.

This place is just slightly off the highway, and is worth it. The Spanish Omelette hit the spot with the Ortega pepper, and the pancakes were a hit with the kids. Great place!

Food was good, service was good... Very nice atmosphere! No much to choose from in town, but they don't take advantage of this... It's definitely worth your stop
