like most of Las Vegas restaurants draw you in with a hook. WE expected the same from Voo Doo Steak. When you arrive you travel up to the 50th floor so you have an amazing view of the lights and skyline from off the strip. The decor to the elevator and as you leave is dark with some "day of... View was great and that was the only really good part of the evening. My husband's steak was just ok and my lamb was ok. The veggies and potatoes were also just okay. When I pay this much for a meal I expect really good food and service and that was NOT our experience. We will not go back. Save... More

We ate there two days ago, we had the VooDoo Ménage à Trois It had the following: 6 oz. petite filet, 4 oz. cold water lobster tail, 2 jumbo shrimp, mashed potatoes and a carrot /asparagus veggie mix. The filet was excellent as well as the Lobster tail. IMO, the shrimp was average. Be prepared to spend Over $100 per... More

Tried the steak and the chicken, both of which were moist and delicious. Service was on point and the view was incredible. Best food I had the whole trip to Vegas.

The food, drinks and service are all top notch at this restaurant, but clearly the thing that sets this place apart is the views of Vegas from its top floor location in the Rio Hotel and Casino. The fact that the Rio is not on the strip actually makes the views better I believe.

I ate here recently during a convention at the Rio. Candidly, the hotel disappointed, VooDoo Steak did not. I wouldn't place it among the best steakhouses in the city but the balance great quality food and exceptional service make it a acceptable option if you're in and around the Rio for business or pleasure and want a convenient great meal.

First the good - great views from the 50th floor. French onion soup, creme brule', and table breads good. The bad - expensive for what you get, mediocre entrees, individual item costing. So, I had the Chilean sea bass on a rive pilaf bed; slightly undercooked and needed a little more reduction. Scallops were rubbery and lacked substance. Lamb looked... More

Set on the 50th floor of Rio Las Vegas, VooDoo Steak offers a different approach to your average steakhouse. This Vegas restaurant may not be on the Strip, but it's worth the extra trip, as it sets itself apart with remarkable views and prime steaks and chops. Ideal for romantic, candlelit dinners or big celebrations later in the evening, you'll find the elegant, yet hip space is the hottest off-Strip steakhouse. Come hungry and keep in mind this isn't your average steakhouse. Favorite dishes include lobster bisque, considerably the best in town. The seared foie gras, braised Chilean sea bass, pan-roasted sea scallops and a great selection of dry aged, prime, and Wagyu Beef are other fabulous selections. Vegan selections are also available. The signature drink is the Witch Doctor - and it's literally smokin'. The dry ice potion consists of five rums and fruit juice in a fish bowl-type glass. If this drink doesn't cast a spell on you, we're not sure what will.
