Located on Spring Mountain Road (Vegas' China Town area) Joyful House has a friendly family atmosphere and the food is great! The four people in my group just decided to go for $16.50 per person set menu. Tons of great food, We ate ourselves insensate and still took left overs for dinner the next day when we got home. The... More

We often find ourselves at Joyful House because the selection, hours, and quality is hard to beat. Peking duck is available every day, without the need to order in advance, and there are many tasty and reasonably priced entries, such as the crispy pork. Service is far ahead of most Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas, and the diverse wine selection is a... More

Located among dozens of restaurants, this one has a wide selection of many interesting dishes. We shared several dishes, which were hot, tasty and served quickly.

We came for dinner during the weekend and were immediately seated. The service was prompt and friendly and we didn't wait too long for our food. We ordered the steamed flounder with scallions, yang chow fried rice and the salt and pepper shrimp with the shell. The shrimp was great -- salty and crispy. The yang chow fried rice was... More

We like to find restaurants off the Strip when we visit Las Vegas. Joyful House is a MUST if you want Chinese Cuisine. We had a wonderful meal and the waitstaff was very attentive.

This is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Las Vegas area. It is located about 10 minutes away from the Strip. For dinner, the food overall was very good and prices were also very reasonable. Décor and service were about what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant.

Very good Chinese food, lots of choice, not bad pricing, either. The combos are a lot of food for the money, and for once a restaurant has a combo that has most fo the things I like, lol. We got the first one for two people, it was too much food but all good (my wife had a bit of... More

There are many restaurants along the Strip so if you think about it, there really is no reason to travel away from it... except if you are looking for really good Chinese food. Then the trip to Chinatown, across the highway from the Strip is soooo worth it. I am Asian and really do prefer rice to bread or potatoes... More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch, based on reviews and being in Chinatown there a lot of options. We both decided on the "lunch specials". Food was outstanding, and a lot of it. Service was outstanding. $25 including leaving a 20% tip was a great value. Looking forward to going back for dinner. Enjoy.
