We decided to try this place after I had researched it on Tripadvisor. We visit Las Vegas a lot but had never been here so thought we would give it a go. It's a short walk from the strip and at one end of the...More

This BBQ has always been great. We have been to this restaurant many times over many years and always liked everything about it. Years ago they had a patio outside that made it even more special. Now it's all inside a very nice room. The...More

Just perfect - delicious ribs, nice service. 100% recommendable. Take the full rack and be aware that bottle on the table is BBQ sauce and no ketchup. You will try to drown the ribs in the sauce;)

Try to always eat here when in town, about once a year. Never disappointed, always get your money's worth. Had friends with us, know they had doubts since Ellis not your high glam place on the strip. Very happy with meals and service. Not happy...More

My family is quite experienced with preparing great BBQ! A few years again we had a BBQ restaurant and catering service in Atlanta. Ok, my rating for Ellis Island is 4 stars and not 5 only because the BBQ restaurant opens at 4:00 or 5:00pm....More

Our group of 6 all liked the food we got. We ordered steak and shrimp and some appetizers and liked it all. The beer there is cheap and they brew their own so it is fun to try. Locals like this place too!

Want to have some great BBQ and this is the place to get it at a very good price! It doesn't open until after 4:00, but it is well worth the wait. I had the full rake of ribs and could just finish eating them...More

You can eat BBQ for a good price. The taste is fantastic. It is in the Ellis Island Casino about 10 minutes of walk to the strip. If you play in the casino you get a discount. You should visit it and have your dinner.

Is Ellis Island BBQ restaurant a stand alone restaurant, or is it inside someplace else, like a casino or what? Want to get that Players Passport card people are talking about, but unsure EXACTLY where to get it. We will be visiting Vegas May13-18, so trying to get better info. Thanks!

It is within a small Casino tucked in the far right corner. It is a small casino.

How far is this restaurant from Holiday Inn Club Vacations Desert Club Resort? Is it an easy walk, or should we drive? I noticed the prices are very reasonable. Is it worth it? I am older (retired) and I would love to try some of the nicer buffets at the hotels, but I can't eat that much food at one time for the average of $50 and up per person. I don't mind paying, just think it's silly if I can't eat much. 😉

I would suggest checking the distance using google maps, as it would help plan your route. With all cards on the table...having been for many of the hotel buffets (Bellagio, Caesars etc) i would rather go to for the rib rack!
How far is the restaurant from the Luxor Hotel please?
