Made a mid day stop after gassing up. Driving from the bay area to Elko on this day we hadn't eat since breakfast so it was time to fuel the body as well. So the food was really good. I had carnitas tacos. Don't recall now what the girls had but don't remember any complaints. And as quiet as they... More

Inside of a shopping center near a Costco store. Nothing special with regards to atmosphere but an easy location for a quick bite. Free chips and a salsa bar and the food was very inexpensive. I got 2 enchiladas and my husband had a taco. The food is average but the chips and salsa bar are a nice filler. Price... More

Clean restaurant, with a variety of good items, and a reasonable price. Near the La Quinta, which helped a lot. We had tacos and the salsa bar was good. They served chips for free as an appetizer.

I tried a Mexican tamales and a Salvadrian sweet corn tamale. Both were very good. There is a nice salsa bar.

We went for pupusas and weren't disappointed. The restaurant is an order at the counter, display a number at the table of your choice and the food is brought to you. A variety of salsas, sauces and slaw were at a self serve bar. The restaurant is clean and seems well managed. Again, the pupusas were light and flavorful making... More

Great food at a great price! Everything was delicious. Casual atmosphere - great for families with kids. Guacamole was freshly made when we ordered it. Home made tortillas. Fajitas to die for. Love the scripture on the wall.

This is a strip mall restaurant where you walk up to the counter and order from the menu on the wall. They do have a large selection of basic Mexican dishes and some Salvadoran dishes, I was impressed that they offered lengua and cabeza which are somewhat uncommon these days. I had a burrito al pastor and the Veggie ordered... More

This place is awesome!! The food was very good. Large menu to select from. The pozole is awesome! There were 7 in our party. Each of us order different plates of food & we're not disappointed with the food. The service was very quick there were no mistakes in the order. Plenty of tables for small or large parties. Plenty... More

This is one of those holes in the wall that the locals flock too. The food was awesome, the service was a bit off, there were 3 of us and we all got food at different intervals. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about! I had the flautas which to me were actually taquitos. My hubby had 3 different street... More

El Paisano is located in the strip mall in front of Costco. They specialize in Mexican and El Salvadore food. There is a large menu with pictures of the food on the board behind the counter. This is convenient if you want an idea of what your dish will look like. There is a salsa bar with lots of sauces... More
