I tried this place last Friday, February 3, 2017. I had 3 shredded beef tacos, a shredded beef enchilada, and a drink, which cost me $17 and change (ouch!), which I thought was a bit expensive for what I had ordered. The tacos were unusual, as the soft corn tortilla "shell" was coated in a grated/powdered cheese somewhat like Parmesan.... More

Steve loves Jimboy's Tacos. The place is clean; the staff is friendly; the food is hot and tasty! Prices are easy on the pocket. Better than Taco Bell. Place has daily specials. When we were there, we saw a couple police cars in the drive thru

I wrote a review on this Jimboys two years ago. The tacos with Parmesan cheese on the outside, burritos and nachos were still amazing. Jim boy's must have listened because they have since remodeled and made the dining area larger.A very nice touch, but the taco are what brings me back!!!

On a visit to Reno and out looking for a place to eat outside the downtown area, Saw JimBoy's Taco and the cars outside and thought 'Ah, must be good.' We weren't wrong! Had beef tacos - lovely fried shell soft enough to bend but not break when you bit into it, enough meet and cheese to fill. Very tasty!... More

When in Reno, we always stop by Jimboy's for Tacos. They are very different than Taco Bell, or any other taco place. Go try it, you will not be disappointed.

I grew up in South Lake Tahoe, we have always loved Jimboys, since at least 1969, They have a different style of taco. But always delicious. The bean and cheese burritos are great.I It is a great place to bring kids, the prices are very reasonable, for a family&they have Taco Tuesday's most of the time.

Service was not good. Screwed up my order to start. Have to be honest, I did not expect anything good from this place but a friend who knows my love tacos insists I try it. Well I confess a darn good taco. I think them over priced but dang good taste and I will be back. Had the carne asada... More

While I lived in Reno this place was a once a week stop. The tacos are awesome but you can't go wrong with the burrito or nachos either.Everytime I'm back in the area Jimboys is a must stop, last time we were in Reno,we made it a 2X stop. The building is outdated but if you are looking for some bomb... More

We only ventured outside once during three days of 100-degree heat - we walked around the block to Jimboy's Taco place. It is authentic Mexican; you can always tell by the cilantro and lime and whatever other magic they put into it. They put grated parmesan on the outside of the freshly-fried taco shells - I have never seen that... More
