We came here after a local meeting with 20+ people. The service was really good. For such a large group we were happy with the quickness our food arrived. It is family style and much of the menu is set so that does make it...More

This is a neat place to go to sample some Baque food, probably the one type that is "native" to Reno. Prices are reasonable and include soup of the day, French bread, Basque beans, salad, French fries, first course, main entree, dessert, and a glass...More

Great food. Great staff. It can get loud...but that's part of the experience. This has become a "must go" every time I'm in Reno. We had a reservation for our group of 10 and it was ready when we arrived. (I would recommend reservations Thurs.-Saturday)...More

A great place to eat. Food is served family style and the cooking can't be beat. They have traditional Basque food that is to die for! Great value too!

We had a very large group and they were amazing. Food came out timely and it was delicious. Lots of options and everyone was able to share. Folks were having the "house" cocktail - the pecan? I tried it but am not a bourbon fan....More

The "family style" aspect of Louis' Basque Corner was not well-advertised on Yelp, so when we got there we were quite surprised by the long tables and boisterous conversations going on around the wood-paneled room. We decided to go ahead and eat there despite the...More

I really wanted to like this place. After all, I had never been to a Basque restaurant before. I am very forgiving of dives, and thought the seating of groups together on long tables by our surly, old waitress was... interesting, but the over-worn plates...More

After many decades this restaurant was recently sold by the founding family. The new owners are keeping most of the menu items and have added some new ones. The upstairs was originally the hotel part of the facility, but has been closed for a number...More

My good friend needed a great steak so I took him to one of the best places in Reno to eat. Locals try to keep it quiet but the word is out! Basque is family style with always plenty of food for all. A full...More

A fun place to dine. Order one of their excellent entres and the whole table shares an aray of sides: beans, bread, salad, soup, wine, potatoes, mussels & rice and dessert. WE all had fun

No, unfortunately not at the bar but there are high tops set up close to the bar and they are welcome to eat there. I personally would rather take the child to the dining area in case it gets loud from the drinking customers.
