We go here just to grab a quick bite. I have been drinking and eating at the Wal for many years. It has a great atmosphere and the food and drinks are ok. Don't expect a lot. UNR is across the street but many types of people come to the Wal to eat and drink and hangout. From lunch to... More

Last time we went to the little Waldorf we were disappointed. It is usually one of our favorite places to go for burgers. My husband wanted onion rings and they charged us $2.00 extra and he got 3 onion rings. Really? The chicken on the salad didn't taste like chicken and wasn't eaten. Don't know what it was but it... Everything seems to be overdone with BBQ sauce, waitress staff overtaxed, happy hour selection limited.

The Wal has an excellent selection of beers on tap, great late night deals, and the food is a little better than what I would expect of bar food. They have unique burger choices like the Jiffy burger with peanut butter and an awesome selection of pizzas. There is always something going on here from trike night to board game... More

I am a University of Nevada graduate and the "Lil Wall" was a frequent hangout for us. Back in town for the holidays, visiting family and friends, we decided to go back the Wall. It has maintained its "sports bar" atmosphere, along with an "old Nevada" motif. But the old college hangout ends there. It is much cleaner than I... More

Chill bar and grill during the week in the afternoon, good happy hours specials (plenty of options of appetizers for $2), fine service (attentive but not effusive), large selection of beers on tap, reasonable prices ($5 for a pint). Lots of TVs showing different sports, decorated with random signs and things hanging from the ceiling (what you might expect at... More

The Little Waldorf was within walking distance from our hotel & my daughters best friend had lived in Reno & recommended it. The first thing you notice when walking in is the Rustic Atmosphere. Tall ceilings with pine log walls & ceilings. They have an excellent assortment of draft beers - the one we really liked was the Pyramid Apricot... More

Can't say anything about the inside of the place or the bar. We were guests of my BIL - we'd just gotten into town after driving in from Phoenix and we wanted something other than McDonald's. We sat outside because we brought our service dogs. Patio area needed a broom run through it and tables wiped down. Service was so-so.... More

We 'used to' eat there on a regular basis for lunch, until we rec'd a couple of bad meals. Could have been bad food or 'chemical tenderizer' on our steaks - we both had a 'rough' night. I emailed the management two times for some response - but never heard back - not a good sign. We have not been... More

I had the burger covered in 'kick-a * *' chili and onion rings. The burger was really good and the chili was rather kick-a * * as advertised in the menu, the onion rings however were greasy. My wife got the smoked ribs which the menu advertised as having been smoked 24 hours. We both agreed that the ribs were... More
